The first guy is wrong. You can't directly put a ps1 or a ps2 memory card into your ps3. You will need an adapter to do this.

do you have the 40gb...if so you cant!!!! the 60 or the 80 can though there is a port in front lift the black peice up and put your mem card in and transfer! youll see it hope this helped!
