Warhawk allows you to play on the LAN, but you only need 1 copy. It will install onto each PS3, and then you just put the disc in and start up Warhawk. You can then eject the disc and put it in the next PS3. However, once your friends go home, they can't start up that copy of Warhawk directly from the drive. They need the disc to start it.

Is it possible to have a LAN party on a PS3 with Call of Duty 4?

If so, how do I go about setting it up, and are there any other games that we could play over LAN? Yes, you can on CoD4. On CoD4, like most games, you need 1 copy per PS3. Just connect the PS3s via ethernet to a switch/router. Have them auto-detect IP addresses and you should be fine.

Yes, you can play Local Area Networked games. yes it is all you have to do is go to the main menu/click multiplayer/LAN party/and make the setting yes you just go into multiplayer and choose LAN and there you go it will work
