PS3 Linux Delete Friends Online?

I was browsing the internet and i really want Ubuntu Linux on my ps3 but i read an article saying it will delete your friends list from your PSN account is this true and also can i play online and access my friends list with linux and without having to restart my ps3 back into it's xmb?

No, it will not delete your friends list from your PSN account. The PSN account information is stored in a separate part of the PS3 (not the harddrive).



No, you cannot play PS3 games online or access your friend's list from Linux. You can play online if you mean like flash games and stuff.



Basically, Linux is Linux. It's totally separate from the PS3's XMB. You can't use all of the SPUs or any of the RSX while in PS3 Linux.

i also thinking of this but i heard the feedbacks and not too impress

also it says it will crew around with your wireless router

am not sure i want to screw anything in my PS3

i dont think i will do it till they fix all the bugs
