What should i do to buy my son a sony psp because i promise him for his birthday gift anyone could help me?

May be...
  • Sounds like you would rather pay as little as possible. In this case, avoid the daxter bundle, which is something like $199. The psp by itself is $169 I believe. If your son wouldn't be offended by a used one, go to craigslist.org, navigate to your city or area and browse through the computer/electronics listings. There are psp's sold on craigslist CONSTANTLY, for about $100, sometimes with games. I guess it would be best to include a game with it, again if your son wouldn't be offended by a pre-owned game, those are much less than new. New games are $20 and up.

The new psp's are the same price at all stores, due to sony's retail licensing. So if you get a new one, it doesn't matter where you go. The various package deals like the daxter bundle or the star wars battlefront bundle are also licensed offers that you can get lots of places.

Used psp's can be got at game stores like gamestop but their business is making a big profit-margin on used items and you won't get the best deal. Craigslist is the quickest way. Online could work too, though it may not be quick enough, depends on when your son's birthday is.
  • Giving the person at the game shop money would be a start.
  • I am also a little bit confused with your question, but if money is an issue, I'll suggest to sell off some of the unused stuff around the house for a start. Not only that will keep the house clean from junk but also I consider it as a good 'trade off' or 'discount'.

On the other hand, if money is a 'serious' issue, buying a game system may not be a ideal thing to do. Better have the kid learn responsibility than being spoiled further.

    Hope it helps. :)
