40gb PS3???

May be...

What are other ways to get music, videos,and pictures on the 40GB PS3?!?!? Can i use a ZIP DRIVE or WRITEABLE CD?

Im a nice guy so ;



1) USB drive (organise the folders so a PS3 can understand them). All your media files in order like these



PS3 > MUSIC

PS3 > PHOTO

PS3 > VIDEO

PS3 > THEMES



2) Data CD

Im pretty sure the PS3 will recognise the files on the CD. They may not be organised though so...



3) External HD

If you have something like a MyBook just copy everything to a folder, copy it from your PC and then just plug it into a USB in the PS3



4) Media Server

Enable media server in PS3's network connection settings. Once setup you can access everything on your PC from your PS3 - streaming it. Dont need to copy anything over but its available if you want to.



5) Memory cards

Depending on what version you got the memory card slots are pretty easy to use. Agin just organise it like on the USB. (The new sony memory stick duo is 16gb and would be great - costs over £100 though so...)



6) If you got PSN friends ask them for loads of pictures and stuff - i get all sorts of funny stuff from friends etc

yes use your Flashdrive or thumbdrive, also writable cds will work for music

I used my usb thumbdrive .....
