Anyone agree that GTA 4 driving controls suck?

May be...

Well, I have to admit that it took me a little while to get used to the driving in GTA4 because I was so used to driving differently in the other GTA games. The driving in GTA4 is just more realistic, but there are times when I think that the cars tend to slide around too much in GTA4 though.

I prefer them. They are more realistic, and it makes the police chases more suspenseful. Plus, if driving wasn't challenging it wouldn't be fun going all over the city for missions.



It also makes stealing a good car a priority for running from cops or for missions.



I drive in first person view though, so that probably makes a difference.

i'd have to agree although you gotta get used to em just like anything else, i don't ever remember the gas being R2 though?? didnt it used to be X? i liked that better...

learn the controls and then ull see its fun but if not switch back to standard driving

not when you change the controls to classic mode.
