?

May be...
  • what's the difference of those "GB" on the PS3??..can you explain it?..and w/c of them should i buy?

    also mention the parts that are included on each "GB".

    like how many controllers,cable wires,usb,.etc.
  • The gb just refers to the size of the hard drive. The bigger the number, the more things you can store on the hard drive.

    As far as accessories and stuff, all versions of the PS3 comes with the same thing (PS3, controller, AV cable, power cord, ethernet cable). The only exceptions are: 1. the 80 gb PS3 comes with a free game (Motorstorm if you can find it in stores, Metal Gear Solid 4 in June). 2. The 40 gb comes with a Sixaxis controller while the MGS 4 bundle will come with a Dual Shock 3 controller.

    There are 4 versions of PS3 out there. The 20 and 60 gb have been discontinued, so I won't get into too much details about them. The 60 is the one to get if you can still find it. It has the emotion engine, 4 USB ports, Wi-Fi, 3 Flash drives. The 80 is the same as the 60 except for the missing emotion engine. The 20 is the same as the 60 gb except for Wi-Fi and the 3 flash drives. Those are missing from the 20 gb.

    The 40 gb cannot play PS2 game disks. The 80 gb can play almost all PS2 games.

    The 40 gb has 2 USB ports while the 80 gb has 4 USB ports.

    The 40 gb has no flash drives, while the 80 gb has 3 flash drives (Memory Stick, SD, and CompactFlash).

    They both have Wi-Fi out of the box.
  • Well, there are three....40GB....60GB and 80GB!

    40GB can (obviously) store 40GB of movies, songs and saved data (HDD). Otherwise the controls and wires are the same in each one. This is unlimited.

    60GB can store 60GB, but it is called the preimium one, as it is limited, and can also play PS2 and PS1 games. The 40GB cannot do this. But sadly Sony have stopped making the 60GB. But people still sell it on sites like ebay and cex.com.

    80GB can store 80GB, but it is not out yet. It will be realeasd this summer, around June and July. This will be able to play PS2 and PS1 games. I do not know of any other features so far.

    40GB= £250-£350 ($400-$550)

    60GB= £350-£450 ($450-$550)

    80GB= Probrably £500 or $800

    If you already have a PS2 and games, i would recomend a 60GB or 80GB console (like i am getting a 60GB or 80GB).

    If you do not have i PS2, i would recomend the 40GB, unless you need more space.

    Otherwise the PS3 is the best console with wireless controllers and HD graphics!

    (Be aware that you might need a HD ready TV for the PS3)

    Hope this helps you!

    Saehaan...
  • the more GB u have the more memory ur ps3 can hold . i would recommend the 80 GB versionbecause there is a lot of memory and it has more options than the 40 GB one (memory card reader , ps2 games compatibility etc..) threy all come in the sam4e bundle the ps3 and two controlers and a game i think
  • That is memory the ps3 holds. The 'GB' the more memory.
