Can i hook up car speakers to my ps3?

if so what do i need and is there a pic of what i need somewhere on the net?

The only way I know how to do this is through the car radio. Many of today's car stereos have an input to connect your mp3 player to the stereo so it'll play through the car speakers. The only way I know of to do this is by purchasing a 3.5mm stereo mini plug to stereo RCA female plugs. You might be able to find it at your local electronics store like Radio Shack. I think you might need a receiver. One that has component or optical input.

Why? are you going to install one in your car? I'm pretty sure its possible but way over my head!!!!!!!!!
