Does anyone know how i can download music to my ps3?

May be...
  • ive had it for six months i only play games with it..
  • On the PS You can download straight from the PS3 internet browser just like you would on a computer. It will promt you for a destination. you can select the ps3 internal harddrive or you can select an exteranl source like sd card jumpdrive compact flash.

    Or

    You can

Simply take a jump drive, external hard drive, etc…hook it up to the USB port on the front and then you--

Goto to view under music, or video, or photos, scroll down to the drive you've hooked up hover over it then push Triangle(notX) then select display all (view all)(press X) and it will show everything on the jump drive or external harddrive. Then either listen to or view the music, video, photos or copy to the ps3 hard drive directly.

If you have a psp you can also use that to move files from pc to ps3.

  • You can make your PS3 recognize all your MP3's, videos, etc. from your computer if you have Windows Media Player 11. If you go online on your PS3 go to the area marked online manuals. If you search the term DLNA server, it will give you detailed instructions on how to make your PS3 recognize your files from your computer. Once you do that, you can copy all the files you want to the PS3's hard drive. You cannot directly download music onto your computer using limewire, etc.
  • Or you can do it the old fashioned way. Transfer your mp3s from your pc via a flash drive or memory stick. also, you can rip straight off of music cd's directly to your hard drive.
  • i like playing games with it
