First thoughts on Haze demo?

May be...

Im in EU and i checked, the Haze demo isnt out in the US, i just want to know what the people who have played it think and thie people who will play it expect.

Loved it, remember the demo was made a lot earlier than the release date.



The controls are a little complex than your average fps, but In my opinion that makes it so much more fun.

Nectar is almost addictive in real life to take, especially overdoses (shoot your teammates in the neck, they go ape ****), love smacking people to the other side of the map :P.

The grenade six axis thing is cool, but a bit hard to do when your running around like crazy on hard, so end up just using the button.

The pistol is like a sniper (scope with nectar, super zoom), and the rebel assault rifle is pretty crap, whereas the shotgun is great. Hope they have a fair few more guns in the final game.

The chatter of your fellow guns is cool, when they overdose they start screaming about killing the world and no one stopping them.

Cant skip the annoying cut scenes :P



Overall it was a little short, not much killing but with the ace graphics the demo would have been even bigger.

Remember you americans you can just make a EU account.



Looks like a definite buy :) Curious how they regulate the nectar with killstreaks in multiplayer.

it feels slightly clunky at the mo but i reckon that will be ironed out. the controls are nothing like the ease of cod4 or any other FPS i can think of.

But first thought take me back to a game on PS2 called The Suffering in the way images and death screams happen out of no were after they scarred my senseless with my home cinema kit and i had to switch to normal TV sound.



but a modern setting gives it a surreal feel but well worth the effort.



LAN co-op was great but tends to become a sprint to get the kills before your friends do.



When i played HAZE last night the PlayStation network wasn't active so i could not comment at time I'll reply if the question is still open.
