Im from the UK and want a PS3, which one shall I buy which enables me to play all my PS2 games on???

I purchased the PAL 60gb version when the PS3 was launched in Britain. You can't get the 60gb version now as it has been discontinued. This was the one that played PS2 games too. Possibly the new 80gb version will play PS2 games, but I know that the 40gb version definitely doesn't.

First of all you want a PAL PS3. So you can't buy the 80 GB version because thats not PAL. The only one that can play ps2 games in the UK is 60 GB version however that is no longer for sale. So the 40GB version is you only option. :)

well i live in the UK and my bro has 80GB and that can play playstation 2 games nicely. ^_^

you should buy the 60GB or 80GB, but don't get the 40GB

The 60GB (if you can find 1) or the 80GB model, the 40GB does not support PS2 games

I think it was the 80GB which played PS2 games but I think they've stopped selling it.
