My playstation 3 has only 2 usb ports, does that mean it only supports 2 players?

No... you can still have up to 7 players, the usb ports are only for charging the controllers or loading something onto the ps3 through a flashdrive

it will still support all seven players,

the only thing is if you play rock band, you will have to get a usb hub,where you plug it into your usb port and can plug 4 items, controlers cameras or what ever into that

You can connect 7 controllers on 1 PS3, the USB's are just there for connecting external devices and recharging the PS3 controllers.



If it bothers you too much them get a USB HUB.
