Ps3 playing ps2 games?

when you are playing ps2 games on a ps3 do you need a ps2 memory card or can you save it on the ps3

Yes it can, but first you need to create a PS2 memory card on your PS3 harddrive.



Go under games in the main icons



scroll up til you see Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)



then select New Internal Memory Card



then select Internal Memory Card (PS2)



then you get to label the card whatever you want



then hit OK.



Read the message at the end, it will tell you to assign the memory card to a slot, which you can do in-game when playing a PS2 game by just pressing the PS (home) button. Just look for something that says Memory Card Settings or Assign Memory Card in the menu.

it saves right on the ps3 hard drive
