Two Question about a PS3??

My PS3 doesn't read disk is there any way to fix it without buying a new one??





How do you make sure you have a warrenty for your PS3??

well i have a friend who's ps3 stop reading his disk he returned it to the sony company but i did sum research and found out another way. turn on ps3 with a disk in it go to network setting and disable your internet star up the disk (i suggest a game disk) see if you can play the game for like a minute, then reconect the internet.\

could it be the disc is scratched and if you want it fixed talk to sony and you will have to send it out
