When will the new silver ps3 120gb hit north america?

when does the ps3 120gb hit north america? with it be ps2 backwards compatible? will it come in silver???

As far as I know there is not going to be a 120GB PS3 model sold by Sony. A 120GB/160GB PS3 was just rumors.



If you want a 120GB PS3, upgrade the hard drive on the PS3, and you've got it.



Currently the Silver PS3 is only sold in Japan and it's a 40GB model.
