As of know there is no official word for God of War 3 for the PS2 so it can be viewed as a good or bad thing. Because ssony has been selling tons of ps2 systems i would think they would. But I also believe that Sony will start to phase the PS2 out in 2009. So it can go either way.

PS2 games aren't going to be made forever and by the time God of War 3 comes out on the PS3 next year, the PS2's lifecycle will be nearing it's end.

i doubt it. when you buy Chains of Olympus for the psp, there is an advertisement for it on the PS3, no mention of the ps2.
