Are later model playstation 3's better than the very first ones made.?
May be...
I know usually when a company comes out with something new there are some kinks they have to work out. Was wondering if this was the case with the ps3 or if there were no defects from the beginning.I've had my 60GB PS3 since 1 month after launch and my PS3 was manufactured in October 2006 and I haven't had one problem with it at all.
The PS3's were always very reliable from the start and they aren't like the Xbox 360's with the very high defect rate. Microsoft introduced newer 360 models with better chips in them to lower the failure rate, but the PS3's have always been very reliable.Same here, launch 60 gig with no problems ever. Knowing it can play all PS2 games is nice even though I seldom ever do.
I had the same experience with my Playstation 2, my original launch PS2 is sitting here still working like new.I too got the PS3 at launch. Not a month after or something but AT the launch date, 11/17/08 and since then, 566 days from today June 5th, I never had a problem. There r all good models its all depends on how well ur console is kept and treated!!well the ps3 has a 2% failure rate so your good to get any ps3 cause there awsome
