If i sell my playstation 3 or trade it in (10 points)?

if i trade my ps3 in how much would i get for it and how much is the ps3 that can play ps2 games on it and whats it called also tell me how much it costs

The only model that plays ps2 games that is being made costs $499 and is the 80 GB model. It comes bundled with a DualShock 3 controller and Metal Gear Solid 4. However, these are sold out and very hard to find. If you have a ps2, then there is no point in getting it.



Gamestop sells used 40 GB ps3s for $350 so they will give you probably around $275 for it or you can sell it yourself for $350. If it is a 20 GB model you won't get much since it has such a tiny hard drive and no wifi adapter.

Sell it. A PlayStation 3 that can play PlayStation 2 games is called a PlayStation 3 80 GB (GB Stands for Giga-Byte) The PlayStation 3 80 GB, right now, costs $500. Since the PlayStation 3 just came out a year ago, and thats when you bought it, your system is worth about $200 dollars. If you got it six months ago, its about $300 dollars. dont trade ur ps3, you can do lots of stuff in it.. i dont know how much you can get if you trade it in but you can always ask stores like gamestop,.. the ps3 that can play ps2 games are the 20Gb(not in production anymore but u can get it used), 60gb(same as the 20gb one) and the 80GB(can play almost of the ps2) and its still in production , the ones that can play ps2 games have "backwards compatibility"

the 40Gb one "cant" play ps2 games.. ALL of the model of the ps3 can play ps1 games..

40gb-$399(new)( its available anywhere no probs about the stocks)

20GB&60Gb(i dont know, try ebay or gamestop for refurbished ones cause they are no longer in production)

You would probably get 250, the one that plays PS2 games is tho 80GB and its $600.
