Playstation 3 linux users?

May be...

I was going to get yellow dog linux saw for the good one it will be around $300 after looking around i found Ubuntu linux which is free to download and use and a lot of individuals say it is better on youtube anyways. I am downloading it right now which takes 3 hours is there a specific one i need or is it all the same. I went to



http://www.ubuntu.com/ and up top corner it says download 8.04 and that is what I am downloading. Is that for the ps3 as well or no.



If this does not make a lot of sense let me know

according to wikipedia it will work

EDIT:never mind, i read a little bit further, and it says version 8.04 is incompatible, but version 8.04.1 will probably be.

this isnt really an answer to your question but... a bit of advice, firstly, you should buy yellow dog linux of ebay from someone for like $2 and it'll come with instructions... step by step guide which is really really useful...



also unless you have an hdtv linux isnt that good because its hard to read the writing on the screen if you dont have one...
