Should I get a ps2? I want one but Is it worth it?

are you really talking about the ps2, just buy the ps3 if you have money, you can play ps2 games there depending on the model you'll buy,you can play it on 20GB(no longer in production but u can buy it used), 60GB(same as the 20gb one) and 80 is still in production and you can get it for about $499 "THE MGS4 BUNDLE" i know all of them are out of stock BUT there will be more NEXT WEEK!

Well, it all depends on how much money you would be willing to spend. Would you rather spend $120 on something that has forever be popular or $400-500 on something that will soon be forgotten in two years? For PS2, you could get really good cheap games but for PS3, just about each one is $60, even ones that are horrendous. You're better off with a PS2.

there are some fantastic games on ps2 to keep you occupied until you buy a ps3.

Okami, Buzz, Singstar, Ratchet & Clank, Jak are just a few examples as well as metal gear 2 &3. Plus if ur lucky wen u do bu a ps3 the games will play (on a 60gb/ 80gb).

At this point, it isn't worth it. Instead of wasting money on a playstation 2, just get a playstation 3. But get an 80gb playstation 3. That way, you can play playstation 2 games.

Well not really anymore since they don't make any good new games for it. But there are a lot of old, yet good ps2 games out there. Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront 2 are probably the best games. You're best off saving up for a PS3

a ps2? u mean a ps3? ps2 is wayyyy outdated and there arnt even makin games for it anymore i dont think, just save up your money for a ps3....there so worth every penny
