Get a PS3 they are going to beat all consoles in the long run!

People keep complaining about the price but i don't see why for that extra £100 (I'm comparing the PS3 40GB and XBOX 360 Premium system)



So You get a extra 20GB HDD Space

Rechargable controller

Blu-Ray Player

WiFi Built In

Freeonline Play

Motion Sensitive Controler

And to buy all these for 360 its about £10 - £15 for the Play and Charge kit

HDMI 1.3



£100 or More to get a HD-DVD Player (which are going to get phased out because Blu-Ray won earlier this year)



Around £60 for the WiFi adaptor which i think is absolute Rip off



£20 for 1 years membership to xbox live PS3 Network is free but at the moment is not as good but it is getting improved all of the time so i think PSN will be worth it in the future.



The Xbox 360 has no motion sensitive controller.



You get a HDMI 1.3 output the 360 Premium is HDMI 1.2 which ius NOT full HD 1080P



Also if you want to compare the PS3 40GB and Xbox 360 Elite then i still believe you get better value for money because with 360 Elite you get a 120GB HDD but with the PS3 you can upgrade it to that for only about £40 also you get HDMI 1.3 which all PS3's already have but don't forget all the other features that i compared with the PS3 AND Xbox 360 Premium System.



The PS3 apprently hasn't maxed out its power and apprently the 360 has maxed out its power (im not 100% on this)



Theres more chance that the Xbox 360 will break down more than the PS3



I have also heard that PS3 is going to be made the Primary games console for making games so that some of the games may been down graded for 360 (im not 100% on this either)



Although there are many more games for the 360 than PS3, ps3 have many great titles now and coming e.g Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots



Loads of Features are coming to the PS3 with the system updates e.g Play TV is coming to enable you to watch TV on your PS3 and record rewind and pause TV also things like Home will be coming a free online 3D Virtual World for Playstation 3 users.



The PS3 has a intergrated Internet Brower



The PS3 can connect with the PSP from all over the world



The PS3 Is a Blu Ray Player and upscales normal DVD's to Near HD



Over i believe that although the Xbox 360 is still a excellent machine and a work of art i believe the PS3 is better

also may i suggest you look at a Nintendo Wii which i also have are great fun to play with family etc.

xbox 360 , more games, been out on market for a while and it has good online content . but to be serious, i think the systems are fairly the same with both having good games and online ability. it up for u to decide what u want
