Help! My PlayStation 3 does not allow me to play games!?

May be...

I recently turned on my console and the PS3 only read's DVD's and other related media, but not GAMES, it simply remains on the start menu. I am currently Restoring the system which shall takes 2 hours 55 minutes!

Has this occured to anyone else and/or does anyone have any advice?

I had a similiar problem. Restoring the PS3 didn't work for me. I had to exchange it for another PS3 from the store I bought it from.



Call up the store you bought it from - and if no luck - contact PS3 customer support - should be covered by a warranty.

yes it happend to me you should ring the help line they will send someone to your house and exchange it with a new ps3 not kidding.
