How can i go online metal gear solid 4?

May be...

ok i found the ethernet cable and plugged it in the ps3 but it still wont let me online ?????? some 1 plz help

Aside from the obvious, getting the PS3 set up, you have to create an ID at Konami.com to play MGS4 online. I did have some difficulty setting up the PS3 at first, with a wireless router. Plug the ethernet cable in, go to settings and follow the instructions in "Network Settings"

Have you setup your PSN ID Account and logged in?

Make sure your firmware is up to date (2.41)

Download the patch for MGO, when you startup. (1.1 I believe)

Then you should be good to go.

Did you read all of the instructions for setting up a network connection?
