How many more years untill the Playstation 3 drops down in price?

May be...
  • It took like four years for the PS2 to drop dramatically. So, I was wondering? I mean I have an XBox, PS2, Gamecube, N64, Playstation 1 (not PS1), Gameboy Advance, and original super nintendo, and hundreds of games for them all. (big time girl gamer, I am) I don't want to trade in my other game systems for the PS3 though. I want to get one though because I just won a $700.00 guitar hero contest. I just think $500.00 for one is just too much. Would it be worth it to pay that much now or possibly wait until the price drops?
  • Since you have a ps2, don't waste your money by buying the expensive ones.

Sony is about to sell the 80gb PS3 (without backwards capability) for the same price as the 40gb is right now. That price is $399.

There isn't going to be a price drop any time in the near future after this one.
  • The 80GB will have a price drop to 399$ but it won't have backwards compatible son it can't play ps2 games.

The blu ray that comes with the ps3 is the same as the other ones.

    It's worth the price.

If you buy a 360 you will spend more money buying accessories for it than just buying the ps3 that comes with all the accessories. .
  • The price has dropped before and it won't for a while now. Get a PS3 40GB, it can't back play PS2 games(yet) but if you don't mind that, it will cost $400. I have one and it works really well and I love it.
  • it is a bargain considering all you can do with it.
  • this year, for christmas, they'll lower the price

    many people still want one
  • YEA ITS GANA DROP OWN ON CHRISTMAS N IN THANKGIVING DAY

    GOOD LUCK
  • i heard the 80gbs price will
