My PS3 60 GB starts up fine but, won't appear on screen? Why? I have the video and audio cords in an evrythin

If I turn it on from the back and on from the front about 3-5 times it turns on. Sometimes takes me up to 10 min to get it on. After it is on you can keep turnign it on and off unless a 15min interval then I have to do the same thign over and over again...HELP!

It seems like I have heard this is the PS3 equivalent to the 360s RROD. At a very lower rate, but this is one of their main problems. Is your PS3 still under warranty? I would get ahold of Sony, I'm sure you could find a number or an email on their website
