Playstation 3 trophy system for other games?

May be...

Ok I am aware of the trophy system and I am sure everyone is too. I just want to know if the trophy sytem is going to be for games that are going to be coming out in the future or for games that have already been made like GTA 4.



Also I downloaded tekken dark ressuraction off ps3 store and I want to know if there is going to be any achievements for that.



How freaken hard this wouldve been if they had came out with the trophy system when ps3 came out.

For the most part only new games coming out will have trophies. Developers need to patch their games if they want to add trophy support, and most probably won't see a reason to do so. It costs time and money to add that stuff in, and it probably won't boost sales much.



Drakes Fortune, and Warhawk are both getting trophies at some point in the near future. I'm personally hoping MGS4 gets them as well. I honestly don't see GTA IV getting them, but Rockstar may decide to add them. I highly doubt Tekken will get them as the developers have probably moved on.



In my opinion, any improvements Sony makes to the PS3 are welcome. They are providing it free of charge after all.
