PS3 system update 2.40?

May be...

Ever since this system update all my games have been really laggy. I can't find one stable server on COD4 or BFBC. it was working fine the day before they released the update but since I have had its been Super Laggy! I'm really pissed off so quick answers plz

Well sony is in the process of fixing 2.40 so just wait for that to re-release and you should be fine. And my friend has had that same problem and that sucks i'm getting call of duty 4 in a couple weeks or even days. Hope this helped ;D
