Psp problem,10 points?

May be...

uh my psp just had a problem when it was reading a disc.

i heard noises then i quit the game took out the disc.

then i saw a ring going around the disc and i wondered what

it was idk if it was either the disc or the psp. please help me!

if your disk is scratched then its the disk try a differnt disk and see if the psp works if not then its probally the psp and you might need to get a new one or get it fixed

that sucks, but maybe your PSP is overheating and causing the disc to burn or is being scratched by something in the psp, here's a link to sonys consumer support

Yeah the ring going around the disc is the RING OF DEATH. That is when there is a ring around the disc the disc is no good it is impossible to fix. I wouldn't try and play and more games if i was you. Call SONY

take off the ring make sure there are no particles in the psp reading laser and clean the umd and try it again
