Psp question?

ok i got a psp from a friend, and he didnt give me the charger or anything just a memory card and a game, and it was about 3 or 4 months until i finally got a charger, and it all works fine except the charger i got plugs int the computer as a charger and usb cable, an dwhen i plug up the usb it wont do anything like to put songs on or anything what do i do?

its not like other things when you hook it up and its goes to usb mode by itself. you have to plug it in,then when that done, go to settings then select "usb mode" that should fix your problems

did you select the usb connection option?
