Xbox 360 or ps3?

May be...

i already have a ps2 but i dont want to save up for a ps3. i have enough money for a 360 should i wait? or should i get a ps3.

first off i want to let you know that i am a PS360 owner meaning that i own both systems, so i have experienced both systems and you are better off getting a ps3 because...



- ps3 has a built-in blu-ray player



-ps3 supports 1.3 HDMI which has rich colors and xbox supports 1.2 HDMI



- ps3 has much more and better exclusives, most of them cant go to xbox 360 because it cant handle that many data(DVD- 8.5gb, blu-ray 50gb)



- because of the blu-ray's huge space, ps3 will have WAY better graphics than 360



- online is free for ps3 not like 360



- you can browse the internet on ps3, no such thing for xbox 360



- the graphics for multi platform games are starting to look better on ps3



- developers stated that they will start using ps3 as the lead platform and port ps3 games to xbox



- playstation home is coming out this fall, its a virtual community where you can hang out with friends and customize your own apartment which xbox doesnt have(FREE)



- ps3 is a true HD console. xbox 360 upscale games to 1080p and ps3 DISPLAY games up to 1080p



- built in Wi-Fi



- xbox 360: 33% hardware failure

ps3: .2% hardware failure(see the decimal? less than 1%!)



- ps3 plays almost all ps1/ps2 games except the 40gb, xbox 360 can only play certain titles mostly the “greatest hits”



- dualshock 3 is now available



- xbox 360 already has been maxed out to its potential with gears of war. ps3 has not been maxed out yet- look at uncharted drakes fortune, better graphics than gears and its only 30% of ps3’s potential



- you can upgrade your harddrive without voiding warranties with any 2.5 HDD, which xbox cant because you have to buy a xbox HDD

those are the ones that i know right off my mind but there are much more reason than this



Now I want you to do me a favor, list all the reasons why xbox is better than ps3. I PROMISE you that nobody will get at least 5 reasons



if you get ps3, look at this, you will be able to play metal gear solid 4, haze, killzone 2, resistance 2(60 player online!!!!), final fantasy XIII, motorstorm 2, little big planet, better version of GTA IV, god of war 3, uncharted drake's fortune, uncharted 2, heavenly sword, ratchet and clank, SOCOM: confrontation, gran turismo 5, ETC- http://news.filefront.com/ps3-exclusives...

xbox 360(premium)- $349

if you want the accessories that ps3 comes with, that would add up to over 700 dollars, so that means ps3 is cheaper

$50- XBL subscription(only for 1 YEAR) pay $50 every year

$100- wi-fi adaptor

$200- HD-DVD drive add-on

$20- rechargeable battery kit

all comes out to $720/$820- add $50 each year you subscribe for XBL

spiderman 3 blu-ray movie/MGS4

all comes out to $399/$499, oh my,look at that, its the same price as before

you should definately go with the PS3 because of the titles that it already has and will have in the future.

If you think about it, the xbox 360 doesn't have alot of good exclusive titles. Other than Gears of War or Halo 3.



Plus, there are so many great features to the PS3:



-Folding@home (help with cancer research)

-Internet Browser

-The Online Gaming is Completely Free





Finally, there are alot of good games that you can get for the Ps3 AND the 360:



-Grand Theft Auto 4

-Battlefield: Bad Company

-Call of Duty 4





So, in conclusion, i would go for the ps3.

I literally just left the exact same situation you were in a couple days ago. I had the money for a 360 for a while, but never was a huge fan of the XBOX interface, and didn't really love Halo, so I knew that PS3 was going to have all the good games XBOX had, PLUS Gran Tourismo 5. I'm so glad I waited and got a PS3

NEVER i repear NEVER get a XBOX360 it dies (breaks) easly trust me i am a technition and i am fix like 6 xbox360 all the same problem all 4 red lights save up for a ps3 graphics are awesome and they are making a game called home it is awesome coming in august if you want to know what home is type home ps3 on youtube

I would advise a ps3 as they have more hard drive capabilities and are more user friendly. They have more features such as blu ray, free online, backwards compatibility you can play other games also with ps3. This is just my opinion and I would advise that you do some research and maybe go to a video game store and play both with the store demos. Good luck in your decision!

depends on wat ur looking for.

if ur looking for online play and games- xbox wins over there... AS OF NOW... but ps3 has great games, just less.

psn is good too, its free and lags less, but XBL has more ppl.



if ur looking for system features- ps3... it has better reliablility, blu ray, internet, remote play, much more.



id recommend the ps3, cuz it has better hardware, and some good games... but alot are coming.

xbox live is the best online gaming community out there so get a 360 its worth it man I have both and I play 360 waaaay more. Plus 360 has more games

You only get a p23 when there are no more wii and 360s left ist a last resort system

this site will give you an xbox 360 just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want an xbox (like me).

why are you asking this but you should get the ps3 save up and experience how game systems should be

xbox 360 deffinatley.... ps3's graphics arent as great... they are more choppy... and xbox 360 has better games... trust me i have both..
