i was wondering if Gamestop Refurbished systems are a good deal or not i dunno i don't feel complete without the sony paperwork and box. but then again. sony doesn't have alot of issues comparing to xbox. also if i get a Gamestop Refurbished ill aim for 60gig just to play kingdom hearts 2 and FF12 but other than that i would not want any ps2 playback. i can always temporary trade ps3's with my neighbor and play them 2 games and that's it. other than that ill buy a 40gig and upgrade the hard drive later. what are you guys opinion.

If you have a PS2 already, is it really that much effort to hook it up when you want to play those games? I don't think. Like you, I would feel a little skeptical about buying a PS3, without that nice warranty from Sony. My advice, go with new, if you can, grab an 80GB system as they would give PS2 playability. Otherwise, take the 40GB, and hook up your PS2 when you get that urge to play FFXII or KH2 Ask them about a warranty. They should offer you one of some sort, even if it's only 90 days. That's enough to know if the system is in OK condition or not. yes they are cheaper and they work
