What are trophies and how do i get them on PS3

Trophy's are awards for completing certian task's in gmaes, much like Achievments on Xbox and Steam.



You need the Ps3 to have firmware 2.40 and higher ( current is 2.50) to add trophy support.

You may need to update the gmaes too to get he Triophy patches.

Not all games support trophies, the developer have to implement this.



When you have 2.40 you cna click on your friends accoutns and see what trophies they have ( hit trianlge to compare there trophy collection to yours) and see what gamer level they are at.

Well make sure your PS3 is updated to the latest firmware, 2.50. You can use the link bellow or just go to Setting->Update. Then you will get the latest Update.



Then only certain games have Trophies. Trophies are similar to 360's achievements. The game developer sets things a gamer must do. When you do it you get points depending of difficulty and then you can compare with your friends.

They are like achievements on the 360 which basically just show what you have accomplished in a game. Not all games have them so you would have to get a game which has them. It was a firmware update a little while ago to put the trophy system onto your Playstation.

it the acomplishments u get for the game but bad thing is that most games dont have them and in most cases if they do add trophies u will have to delete the game and beat it all over again to get the trophies i think its a waste
