Does the PlayStation 3 Online System work everywhere?

This December i'm getting a Playstation 3, but i want it specially for online gaming, And i'm wondering if you can use the Online System everywhere, or only on US?



For example i wanna play GTA 4 online with friends, would it work no matter where i am? (Just the internet connection connected duh..)

Yep, as long as your signed into your profile you can do it anywhere
