LCD/PS3 getting bad Resolution.?

May be...

I had my PS3 hooked up to a 4 year old 48" projection tv. It doesn't display the specific resolution but its an HDTV. (My blurays look worse than dvds on this TV)



Anyway's I bought a Samsung LN40A530 40" 1080P Resolution. I though my ps3 games and bluray would look amazing (and they do look sharp) but i'm noticing ALOT more jagged edges in games. My old projection tv had mormal res, BUT did not show any jagged edges.



also bluray movies don't look as crisp and clean as I though they would on a 1080p.



Is their any advice or settings i should change in my TV or PS3? Thanks.

Are you using the Red-White-Yellow analog outputs, or using digital outputs. Makes a big difference.
