PlayStation 1 help It keeps freezing?

May be...

I Play my Ape Escape game but it keeps frezzing on the PlayStation Symble thing screen. I'm using my Psx2 power cord thing. so What Am I doing wrong?

GET A NEW SYSTEM!!! That PS1 is at least 4? 5 years old? Things like that don't last forever. Get and Xbox 360. Or at least a PS2.
