Why wont my ps3 read disks?

May be...
  • it wont read any disks, i havent used it for a while though, what can i do? should i buy a disk to clean the lense or somethin?? pls help.
  • what is rong is that you havent used it in a long time so the reader has dust on it. what i used on my ps3 was compressed air and sprayed it in the disk slot to take the dust off. after you do that it should be working

    good

    luck
  • Call sony and ask them for technical help. And if they cant help you then they probably gonna ask you to box it and sent it to them
  • Buy a lens cleaner first - try it out.

If that doesn't work, check to see if any normal CDs/DVDs work.

If CDs and DVDs work, your Blu-Ray drive is dead.

Call Sony if that's the case.
  • mabye its the disk thats the problem? clean it or try a cleaner one. i agree with u if u buy a cleaning thing.
  • Maybe the disc reader needs cleaner dust might have built up inside.
  • cuz it f***ed up!

    BUY A NEW ONE!
