PLAYSTATION 3 NETWORK??? HELP??? DESPERATE!?

all my friends are not showing up. i know what you all are thinking "sign in and off and in again." but i have tried that several times. my friend says that it says i havent logged on in 30 days yet ive been logged on everyday because it shows my avatar and screename but thats it. all my friends show up when i play GTA IV and invite someone but it doesnt show on my playstaion homescreen. HELP???? at first i thought my servers were just a little bit slow so i play a game fore about 15 minutes and checked and still nothing was there. please do not put sign in and off over and over again because ive done that a billion times. its not just my PS3 because i have had friends with this problem. please help!!!! 10 points!

You SHOULD have purchased a Microsoft Xbox 360. It has a FAR SUPERIOR online multiplayer community.

maybe its a connection problem if your using wifi and dont listen to schtoops he is just a 360 fan boy
