PS3 Experts needed- i want a PS3?

May be...
  • I want to buy a PS3 80GB. Is that enough memory space for me to have a bunch of games stored on. Also, for a memory unit. Do i use a USB flash drive or do i have to get a converter to use my ps2 memory card. the memory card is 8GB, is that enough.
  • most demo games only take up a gig at most, but full games can but up to 8, but most of the downloadable full games are rubbish anyway so i would say 80GB is more than enough - i'm fine with 40
  • well yes you should get 80gb but if your that kind of person that not only wants games on their ps3's then you should get the 160gb that will be perfect. and yes you do need a converter to use your ps2 memory unit well its not really a converter its just a usb plug on one end and a ps2 memory unit slot on the other end i think that's like 20 bucks not sure though you should look into that if you'd like.
  • PS2 memory cards are only 8MB isn't it o.O

80GB is enough, most games have 5GB max. Out of the box, it will really be 74GB, but I heard they will use 10 more for System thing.

You could always buy 320GB more [Like buying another memory card] for only $80
  • Not sure why you need a converter for a PS2 memory card since all currently produced PS3 no longer have PS2 compatibility. But 80GB is fine as long as you're not trying to store a bunch of full games.
