Would you recommend a PS3 to me? (more details inside)?

I'm trying to decide if I should get one or not. I'm a senior in high school and getting a laptop soon (possibly pricy MacBook). I have the funds, but I am not sold on getting one (feel like a waste of money). It would mainly be for Guitar Hero World Tour/Rock Band 2. Is it worth it for me?

As a student, a laptop would be more useful for you. After all, you can also use laptop to play games and at the same time for school works. PS3 will only get in the way of your studies. What a PS3 can do can also be done wiht laptops and so much more.



If you want to play Guitar Hero, get the guitar for PS3 because you can also use it on laptop or PC (it is USB) using the free Frets on Fire game ( the free version of Guitar Hero that you can download from the internet) and I can give you all the download links for all Guitar Hero songs (GH1, GH2, GH3, world tour, etc) which you can use on Frets on Fire. I have a PS3 and the guitar hero 3 but I use it mostly on laptops because I can download all the GH songs for Frets on fire free.

i believe that the 360 is the BEST recommendation for you...personally i have one myself and its a GREAT console. nice graphics,games its just 100% good. but i cant tell u which one to get thats gonna have to be your decision not mine. oh yeah it has a nice avatar system which u can build characters uhh u can surf the web uhh buy games of xbox live etc etc but this choice is soley on YOU.....

Hell Yeah! PS3 rocks, and it has BluRay so thats all you need.
