Is it safe to clean the ps3 air vents with a vacuum ?

May be...
  • ya just dont stick it in to far
  • That's what she said. Report Abuse
  • Nothing wrong with that. It's a good way to keep dust out of the console, but a better way would be to buy a can of compressed air, such as DustOff, which is specifically made for cleaning electronics. Then use the vacuum to clean any dust that spews out, and keep using the vacuum to keep a lot of dust from accumulating around it!
  • Why not try air in a can (pressurized air)... similar to what we use to clean our computers and high priced electronics. This is a much safer way to get dust out of high tech devices.
  • I don't recommend it. Go to bestbuy or whatever computer store is near you, or order off newegg and get Compressed Air-- this has many more usues than PS3(Like your computer, mainly processor but any fans.)
  • YES because inside the vents their are little fans that turn to cool your ps3. Therefore there are no loose parts only fans so go ahead.
  • as long as that vacuum isn't run by a jet engine or anything/ and nothing is unscrewed or taken apart go ahead
  • Yes it is. Use low power if there is an option for that.
  • um no not really.....why would you?
  • Yes
  • sure it would be good for it
  • hell no fool
  • i thank yeah
  • u should just blow in there
