If a PS3 can surf the internet can you download and play pc games on it?

actually, if you install linux on your ps3, and from there use a windows emulator, it has been shown that you can run pc games such as diablo, doom or starcraft, but going through all that trouble to play old games isn't worth it, ps3 games are better than pc games anyway
