Does the PS2 (slim) read CD-ROM's?

ok. so i sold my fat ps2 about an hour ago, i'm getting a slim version ps2.



here's why



Marvel vs. Capcom stopped working and i was told that the big ps2 doesn't read cd-roms (discs with the blue data side)



so, does the slim version read blue discs

yes it can! I have many games with the blue or black color disk and they play just fine on the ps2 slim
