My PS2 suddenly turned off and doesnt turn on anymore?

yes i still have a PS2 and i still play it because it is the greatest game system ever and it was still working until a while ago. the screen started going all weird and then... ALL of the SUDDEN the ps2 just turns off and, i reset the plug and all the connections but when i turn the switch to the on position it just doesnt turn on,



the red light on the reset doesnt turn on any more either.



is this it, is my ps2 dead and completely broken, ive had it since like 2002-2003

Well those things happen, sorry to hear that. If you want another console then I suggest you buy a PS3 since you have a PS2 which are both compatible, but not all PS3 consoles are compatible with PS2 games. Buy the one with the compatible, also if you buy the PS2 to PS3 USB controller adapter, then you don't need to buy the sixaxis or dual shock 3, just to save money. Your choice!
