Help?
Make sure, the phone is connected to the DSL splitter, not a seperate wall socket next to the splitter.
Let me show you graphically:
WRONG:
Land Line
.|
.|
Main phone socket------>Phone socket in different room --> Phone
.|
Splitter---> Router---> PS3.
CORRECT:
Land line
.|
Main phone socket---> Second socket--> DON'T CONNECT ANYTHING HERE!
.|
Splitter---> Router ---> PS3
.|
Telephone
Another reason could be:
Is your phone wireless? Maybe it's generating interference.
Try connecting your PS3 with an ethernet cable as a test. Then ask a friend to call you (or call yourself from a cellphone).
If you disconnect while wired, see the solution above.
If you only disconnect while wireless, set your WLAN router to a different channel, or check if your phone can be set to a different frequency.
