I need help with my ps3 my warranty expired! and i have this problem!!?

when i turn it on it makes some ticking loud noises and then it would receive signal from wired or wireless and the thing where you see the photos and music and games will take a long time time to load!!!! and the then if i go somewhere it freezes please help me i love my ps3 very much not sounding like a low life but i really love gaming because i am not allowed outside for a long story ....please tell me whats wrong!!!

most likely your fan or hard drive has failed. if it has been turned on and off multiple consecutive times, or has been unplugged or turned off from the back switch, it could cause hard drive failure. if you have over used it, such as playing in longer than 2 hour periods, then the fan has most likely failed, if not, its worse. by worse i mean, that because of head, there could be extensive damage, such as too several cores of the processor.



the user book recommends that you take 15 minute breaks between 1 and a half hour gaming sessions, not bluray.



you can still send it back to sony, if its one of the aforementioned problems, its most likely just around 80$ american to fix.

I have no clue what you should do. But if it happened to me I would reset the PS3 turn it off, then turn off the back switch and leave it like that for a day or two. You might also want to try cleaning the dust out with a vacuum. After all that is done I would point a fan at it while gaming, you might want to take it out of a confined space (if it is in one) and keep the room temp that you're gaming in cool.

Sounds like u play ur PS3 TOO MUCH. Take a break for at least 2 hours after each gaming session so ur system can cool itself. Also, try to limit ur gaming sessions to less than 3 hours.
