What's the Difference Between......?

May be...
  • HD, HDMI, Composite, Hybrid, etc..............which is the best?
  • HD and HDMI are the same thing and I never heard of Hybrid.

    HDMI is better.

HDMI only works on HDTVs it has a bigger bandwidth which allows more data which are High Definition from the PS3 to the TV.

Composite works on all TVs. The Bandwidth is a lot smaller so the games look like crap and they do look like crap because it doesnt have enough bandwidth to transfer the HD so it converts it to SD.

Bandwidth is like a street. HDMI is a like a giant street (for example 10M wide) it allows the fat guy with lots of stuff in it.

Composite is a 2M street the fat guy can fit into it so it just gives a skinny guy some of the stuff so its smaller (cheaper) but the quality (amount of stuff) is way worse
  • HD is a viewing resolution 720i 720p 1080i 1080p

HDMI and composite are ways of connecting a device up to a TV...HDMI cables are more expensive but they offer a better quality output...almost every device comes with a composite cable it is the cheaper way to connect the two devices

Hybrid...depends on what your talking about...Hybrid usually means new or prototype...I don't know what your asking

I recomend an HDMI cable to view in HD
