How to make your iPod touch work on your ps3?

I plugged in my iPod touch into my ps3 and it doesn't recognize it. What do I need to do? How do I do it?

The current gen models of iPod (Nano/Touch/etc) no longer have the USB Mass Storage driver needed to be recognized as standalone devices. Only the early models had this ability and could be supported by the PS3.

You can't because the new iPods don't allow for access into the contents of the iPod, so at the moment you are not able to do this.
