All HDMI cables are 1.3A, 1.3B, or 1.3C. You don't need to worry about the letter after the 1.3 because that only has to do with diagnosing on the cable. 1.3 is the highest cable and is the only one you can buy right now, so as long as it is 1.3x (x being a letter), then you are fine.
Your TV is only a 720p TV, but you can still use the cable for the sound instead of getting component cables as Dolby Digital is sent through HDMI cables. Also, you only have one cable to deal with for video and audio instead of several like the component and composite cables. You will probably find an HDMI cable for cheaper than component cables, so just go with an HDMI cable. Higher cost does not mean better quality, only that you are wasting money. Any cable about $7 on up will be properly shielded. Anything under $7 could cause interference.
