How do i hook my ps2 up online?

May be...
  • o so i got a fat ps2 and i want to go online with it , what stuff do i need ?? and what games are still being played online ?
  • To get online you'll need the following:

    1. Sony Network Adapter

    2. Dial-Up or Broadband Internet Connection (DSL or Cable) (Recommended)

    3. Memory Card

    4. Online Enabled Game

    5. Networking equipment (i.e., cable modem or DSL modem5, usually provided by the ISP)

    6. Online start-up disc or an online capable PlayStation2 software title with the online utility tool built in. (included with the Network Adaptor or with the PlayStation 2 system)

Connect your PS2 to your internet connection, load a set up disc or online enabled game and follow the instructions from there !
  • Go to a toys r us or best buy and buy the network card for it. Then, hook up the card and plug an ethernet cable from your router to your network card. Unfortunately, barely ANY games have people on them. I went on a ps2 game that was pretty popular, and not 1 person was on. I'd suggest you'd do this considering this.
  • i got the same thing i know one game thats still being played is Star Wars: Battlefront II but i'm pretty it's more fun with a friend and yeah, a network adapter is needed but You have to hook it up to a modem or something like that but i read something about a wireless bridge just catches it but don't take my word for it, just ask it in another question. kthanxbai
