I only have 11 GB of memmory on my ps3.?

May be...
  • will external hard drives work for saved games and downloaded ones. should i get an internal one. where could i get either of the 2
  • You can't use an external hard drive to save your games. Only videos and things. An external hard drive would be useful for backing up data and things.

You can however buy a 2.5" SATA HDD.

Make sure its a 5400rpm. 7200rpm drives can make your PS3 hotter.

Check around your local Best Buy or EB Games. I think that play.com and GAME.co.uk have them too.

In the UK, you can find them at PC World.
  • the internal one is better in my opinion. the only hassle is installing it.

you just need a 2.5 hard drive. i reccommend the 320gb hard drive from best buy. its 80 bucks. how do you replace it? on the side of ur ps3 is a small clip. use ur thumbnail to get it off. then there is a blue screw. use a phillips screwdriver to take it off.slide it to the left to take the hard drive out. there is a cradle for the hard drive. use the phillips screw to take it out. put your new hard drive in then screw it into the cradle. put the hard drive in, slide it forward, then put the blue screw back in. then put that cap on. for more info, check my source.
  • SATA 2.5" internal harddrive 5400rpm or 7200rpm

    they go up to 500gb

    common ones are 250gb

    320gb

    500gb
  • Buy any 2.5 inch SATA hard drive and it will fit the PS3's hard disc space, you should buy a 360GB.
  • Buy a 360GB instead umm for space ; P
  • bro is all about the SATA!
